Microsoft Outlook 97 Setup Instructions

Set up your Internet Mail
- Run Outlook 97.
- Select the Tools menu, then Services.
- Any currently configured mail accounts will be listed starting with Internet E-mail. These can be accessed by highlighting the account and selecting the Properties button, as shown below.
- To add a new mail account, click the Add button.
- Choose Internet E-mail and press OK.
- Enter a description for the email account.
- Enter your name in the user information area.
- Your email address is your username followed by @i.net.au Eg. username@i.net.au
(Note: If you have your own domain name, your email address may be different)
- Leave the reply address blank, your email address will be used for the return address.

- Click on the Servers page tab.
- The Outgoing mail (SMTP) is mail.i.net.au
- The Incoming mail (POP3) is mail.i.net.au
- Enter your username in the Account name field.
- Enter your password.
- The Logon using Secure Password Authentication should NOT be selected.
